Celebrating Volunteerism

April 19 through April 25 is National Volunteer Week!

Liberty Bank recognizes the importance of volunteering. Its brand promise is “Be Community Kind,” and the bank takes that promise seriously.

“It’s not just words,” said President and CEO David W. Glidden. “We walk the walk. We care deeply about our community and want to help whenever we can.”

Volunteering in the community is a year-round effort for Liberty Bank teammates, and the bank has the numbers to prove it.

In 2025, Team Liberty collectively logged 16,500 volunteer hours with a total of more than 600 organizations. Each year, they demonstrate a renewed commitment to the bank’s brand promise and give new meaning to “Be Community Kind.” This is in addition to the $4,040,080 in charitable and corporate giving invested in our communities by Liberty Bank and Liberty Bank Foundation.

Whether they are volunteering at the local soup kitchen, building bikes for Boys & Girls Clubs, serving on a nonprofit board, providing financial literacy in our communities or supporting another cause they believe in, Liberty Bank teammates are out in the community helping others, and they are making a difference in so many ways.

“Those volunteer hours matter,” Glidden said. “It shows that Team Liberty always remains focused on our mission to improve the lives of our customers, teammates and communities for generations to come. Our compassion for others, and our desire to make a difference, is demonstrated every day, and we always strive to do more – to help more people.”
