Summer Float Tellers gain hands-on experience in retail banking while working across multiple branch locations throughout the summer. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn the fundamentals of banking, build customer service and financial skills, and adapt to different teams and environments. It’s an ideal way to explore a career in banking while developing confidence, versatility, and a broad understanding of how our branches support customers and communities.

  • Who It’s For: College students interested in exploring a career in banking or financial services.
  • Program Structure & Duration: A full-time, paid, 10–12-week summer position
  • What You’ll Do: Work across multiple branch locations, gaining hands-on banking experience while building transferable skills in customer service, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Our Summer Internship Program provides hands-on, meaningful work experience across key areas of the bank while offering exposure to the day-to-day operations of a financial institution. Interns collaborate with experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and gain insight into how their work supports customers, teams, and the broader community. This program is designed to build foundational skills, expand professional networks, and help students explore potential career paths in banking.

  • Who It’s For: College students interested in gaining hands-on, professional experience while exploring potential career paths in banking and financial services.
  • Program Structure & Duration: A full-time, paid, 10-week summer internship based on-site at Liberty Bank’s Corporate Office locations.
  • Areas Available to Intern: Internships are offered across a wide range of business areas, including Legal, Human Resources, Technology, Commercial and Consumer Lending, Finance, Communications, and more.
  • What You’ll Do: Gain hands-on experience through meaningful work and project-based assignments, collaborate with experienced teammates and mentors, build professional and technical skills, and participate in engagement and development activities designed to introduce you to Liberty Bank’s culture and values.

The Accounting and Finance Apprenticeship Program offers an immersive, hands-on opportunity to develop technical and professional skills while learning the core functions of financial operations. Apprentices gain practical experience working alongside seasoned professionals, building a strong foundation in accounting and finance while supporting real business needs. This program is ideal for individuals looking to grow their skills, gain industry exposure, and begin a long-term career in financial services.

  • Who It’s For: Individuals interested in starting or transitioning into a career in accounting or finance — no college degree or prior accounting experience required. This program is ideal for entry-level job seekers, career changers from any industry, and current Liberty Bank teammates seeking to build new skills and credentials.
  • Program Structure & Duration: A structured, paid apprenticeship that combines full-time, on-the-job experience at Liberty Bank with guided digital learning through the AICPA Accounting and Finance Associate Program, along with mentorship from Liberty Bank leaders. Apprentices begin at a foundational level while working as an Accounting Clerk, with opportunities for continued development upon program completion.
  • Area Available to Apprentice: Finance and Accounting, with rotational exposure across multiple areas within the Finance function while completing AICPA coursework.
  • What You’ll Do: Gain hands-on experience working in a real business environment, rotate through finance and accounting teams, and build practical skills while completing structured AICPA training. Apprentices develop technical knowledge, business acumen, and professional skills, with the potential to continue advancing through additional finance leadership development pathways.

The Commercial Credit Analyst Professional Development Program provides a structured pathway to build expertise in commercial lending and credit analysis. Participants gain hands-on experience evaluating financial information, assessing risk, and supporting credit decisions while working closely with experienced commercial banking teams. This program is designed to develop strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of how we support our commercial clients and local economies.

  • Who It’s For: Recent graduates or early-career professionals with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (finance, accounting, economics, or related disciplines preferred) who are passionate about learning, self-development, and building a career in commercial banking.
  • Program Structure & Duration: A challenging, paid, two-year rotational program designed to accelerate the development of future commercial banking talent. Participants complete structured rotations, receive extensive coaching, and participate in in-office, hands-on learning experiences.
  • Areas Available in the Program: Commercial Banking, with rotations across the full lending and service lifecycle, including credit analysis and underwriting, along with exposure to other areas of the bank through Master Class, expert-led, area-focused workshops.
  • What You’ll Do: Build strong analytical, financial, and underwriting skills while translating business needs into informed recommendations. Participants collaborate with leaders and peers, receive training on relevant financial tools and software, gain exposure to industry trends and bank initiatives, and develop meaningful relationships through mentorship, networking, and cross-functional partnership. The program also offers opportunities to make an impact on the business and give back to the communities we serve.
