27 Year Banking Executive Who Leads Liberty’s Retail Banking Team

David W. Glidden, President & CEO of Liberty Bank of Middletown, Connecticut, today announced that Minnie Saleh, the Bank’s Chief Retail Banking Officer, has been promoted from Executive Vice President to Senior Executive Vice President.

Saleh, a 27-year banking executive, came to Liberty Bank in June 2015 as Executive Vice President/Retail Banking and quickly ascended to her current role as Chief Retail Banking Officer and now Senior Executive Vice President. She leads more than 400 employees in the retail branch network, community development, branch operations, government banking, business solutions and Liberty Bank Investment Services.

“At Liberty Bank, we take pride in recruiting and retaining the best-of-the-best in the industry. Over nearly three decades, Minnie has deservedly earned that reputation in the industry, in the region and right here among her teammates at Liberty Bank,” said Glidden.

“We will continue to build off her extensive banking acumen to grow and deepen customer relationships, deliver an extraordinary customer experience, satisfy increasing customer expectations and position Liberty as the community bank of the future, especially now as we confront the new normal in banking due to the pandemic.”

Prior to joining Liberty, Saleh was with Sovereign Bank/Santander for 12 years, holding the position of Executive Vice President and Regional President for Connecticut, Rhode Island, and

Central and Southern Massachusetts. In that executive position she led a Retail and Business Banking team of 1,100 team members and 153 branches.

A graduate of Holy Cross College in Worcester, Massachusetts, Saleh also attended the Consumer Bankers Association’s Graduate School of Retail Bank Management where she graduated with top honors.
