Liberty Bank Welcomes Jeffrey S. Sattler as Commercial Loan Officer Serving Northern CT and Western MA

MIDDLETOWN, CT – Jeffrey S. Sattler has joined Liberty Bank, headquartered in Middletown, CT, as Vice President, Senior Commercial Relationship Manager. Sattler comes to Liberty Bank with over 35 years of experience as a Commercial Lending professional. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer at Savings Institute Bank & Trust Company in Willimantic.

Sattler’s background includes business relationship development and credit analysis. At Liberty, he primarily operates out of the Granby Branch (11 Hartford Avenue). He is responsible for business banking development and middle market commercial relationships in Western MA and Northern Hartford County, an area new to the Bank. Sattler specializes in providing term commercial loans, commercial mortgages and working capital lines of credit which can be tailored to meet client needs today and into the future.

While at Savings Institute Bank & Trust Company, Jeffrey was responsible for business loan development and deposit relationships in Northern CT and Western MA, targeting $1 million to $5 million loans. Prior to that, Jeffrey worked for Community Bank, NA, in Syracuse, NY; Nuvo, a division of Merchants Bank in Springfield, MA; and was the President and original organizer of Nuvo Bank & Trust Company also in Springfield, MA. From 1995-2006, Jeffrey was the Senior Vice President/Team Leader at TD Bank, responsible for business development and marketing for a 30-member commercial lending group.

Throughout his career, Jeffrey has been involved in many community fundraising activities and has been recognized for his strong efforts and influence. Among other organizations, he is currently a Board of Director and Finance Committee Chair for the Mason Wright Senior Living Community; Board of Trustee for Springfield Technical Community College; member and former President of the Rotary Club of Chicopee; and a Board of Director and Director of Fund Development for the Western MA Chapter of Boy Scouts of America.

Sattler holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science/History and Business Management from Springfield College. He currently resides in South Hadley, MA with his wife, Darlene.
