Dinora Lopez Joins Liberty Bank as SVP, Associate General Counsel

David W. Glidden, President & CEO of Liberty Bank, today announced the hiring of Dinora Lopez of Glastonbury, Connecticut, as Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel.

Lopez joins Liberty Bank from the private practice of law, having worked with and counseled senior leaders at many banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions. Most recently, she was a Senior Associate with Gfeller Laurie, LLP. Lopez began her law career with Ford & Paulekas, LLP where she started as a Paralegal and ascended to the position of Partner.

Lopez graduated from Capital Community College with an Associate’s degree, then Summa Cum Laude from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Science degree in paralegal studies and went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from The University of Connecticut School of Law.

A recognized leader in the community, Lopez is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association. She is President of the Commercial Real Estate Women’s Network (CREW) Connecticut Chapter, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Capital Community College Foundation and member of the Board of Directors of Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company (CATIC), among many other organizations.

She officially started her new role at Liberty Bank on February 1, 2023.
