Middletown, CT — Liberty Bank has been named a Hartford Courant Top Workplace for the eighth straight year. This is the second time in the last three years that Liberty garnered the number one ranking among Connecticut large employers.
Of more than 600 companies invited to participate, Liberty Bank was one of 60 local companies and organizations to make the 2019 list. The annual Top Workplaces celebration was held on Thursday, September 20 at the Aqua Turf in Southington. Winners in small, medium and large employer categories were announced amongst nearly 700 attendees.
“Our Top Workplace Award has been one of our proudest achievements since we began participating in 2012. Being named the number one larger employer again this year speaks volumes about our employees’ commitment and pride in the work they do and the impact they have on our customers and communities,” stated David W. Glidden, Liberty Bank President and CEO.
“Our success is the result of our outstanding teamwork, and this recognition is a direct reflection of a workplace that encourages collaboration, and embraces diversity and inclusion. I am honored and proud to work alongside the most dedicated, caring and passionate employees who put their hearts and souls into everything they do. It is our goal to invest in employees and provide all Liberty Bankers with the tools they need to be successful and grow. I can’t thank them enough for this outstanding recognition.”
