AnnaMaria Hubbard, Bank Manager for Liberty Bank’s Middletown branch on Main Street, has been named by the Connecticut Bankers Association as one of the “New Leaders in Banking.” One of only 15 Connecticut bankers who received this prestigious accolade, Hubbard was honored at a banquet on October 9.

Being named one of the “New Leaders in Banking” is an annual honor awarded to individuals who are outstanding employees, managers or business leaders and who make a notable impact within their banks and communities. Recipients are selected by an independent panel of judges.

Hubbard, who resides in Cromwell, has been employed by Liberty since 2017 and has worked her way up from universal banker to assistant branch manager and now branch manager. She’s led Liberty’s Middletown branch since November 2024. 

Hubbard is a graduate of the Connecticut Bankers Association’s Connecticut School of Finance and Management. She also embodies Liberty’s brand promise to “Be Community Kind.” She volunteers with Middlesex Habitat for Humanity and Cromwell Public Schools.
