As part of World Kindness Day on Monday, November 13, nearly 700 Liberty Bank teammates built 88 brand new bicycles at all an employee volunteer Build-A-Bike event.

The bikes were then donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford. The bikes, including helmets, were distributed among the five Hartford Clubhouses and handed out to kids who need them. For many, this is their first-ever bicycle. 

Both organizations have a longstanding commitment to the community. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford is the nation's first Club, and Liberty Bank is the oldest independent mutual bank in the nation.
